Celebrando el mes de la herencia Hispana  la ciudad de Baytown presenta Baytowns Grito Fest. Dos dias de entretenimiento gratis para toda la familia, viernes 4 de octubre, en el Baytown Town Square. Sábado 5 de octubre en el Bicentennial Park. Habrá concurso de acordeón, jalepeño y grito. 

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, the City of Baytown presents Baytown’s Grito Fest. Two days of free entertainment for the whole family, starting Friday, October 4 at Baytown Town Square. Saturday, October 5 at Bicentennial Park there will be an accordion, jalepeño and grito shout contest.

Friday, October 4 (Town Square)

Competitions

Who doesn't love some friendly competition?! Here's an opportunity to show off your talent! Join in on the Grito Fest competitions. There is no cost to participate.

On-site Competitions

• Play the accordion? Show off your skills and sign up for the accordion competition!
• Is your grito a show stopper? Show Baytown what you're made of and sign up for the Grito Competition!
• Do you have what it takes to eat the most jalapeños in the fastest time? Show the world your talent!

Sign up on-site on October 5 to participate in the accordion, grito shout, and jalapeño competitions to be held during the event.

Pre-judging Competitions

Think your salsa is the best? Bring the flavor and sign up for the Green and Red Salsa Competition. Salsa judging takes place on October 1 and the winners are presented awards on-stage during the October 5 event.

Categories include Restaurant Green Salsa, Restaurant Red Salsa, Homemade Green Salsa, and Homemade Red Salsa.
