If you are looking for a new way for your children out of the house and active, the Baytown Youth Sports Expo is taking place this Saturday from 9am-4pm inside the Baytown Community Center. The expo is free to the public and is designed to allow kids ages 3-18 to explore multiple sports to find the right fit for them. More than 15 organizations will be on hand to showcase what each has to offer.
Lauren Siple, Athletic Program Director for Baytown Parks and Recreation Department, said, “This is a fantastic opportunity to explore all of our youth sports program under one roof. Many organizations will even allow you to register on-site.”
Siple added, “It is really neat to see our community have the chance to interact face to face with multiple youth sports organizations because it’s rare to get this many in one setting.”
While exploring all of the options, there will be free snacks, face painting, and fun photo opportunities, including a 360 photo booth with hilarious props. Bring some money as there will be a few food trucks on hand as well.
