Industry partners continue to give back to the City of Baytown. During the last City Council meeting, Connie Tilton with Exxon presented a $50,000 check to Mayor Brandon Capetillo, Parks Director Clifford Hatch, and the rest of City Council.
The money will go toward parks projects in Councilwoman Alvarado’s District 1 and Councilman Johnson’s District 3.
Tilton said, “It’s our pleasure to give $50,000 to the Parks Department. We have been working with Charles, Laura, and the Parks Department to improve some of the areas around our facilities for our nearby neighbors to enjoy and for our employees to go and enjoy too.”
Hatch said, “We are thankful for the donation from Exxon to go to our numerous projects.”
