Officer Chad Billeaud began his law enforcement career with the Baytown Police Department in May 2000. Over the years, he has built a well-rounded and distinguished record of service. He spent eight years in the Patrol Division, where he also served as a Field Training Instructor, mentoring new officers and shaping the next generation of law enforcement professionals.
In 2003, Officer Billeaud joined the department’s SWAT team, enhancing his tactical skillset and playing a key role in numerous high-risk operations. His career path led him to the Special Operations Unit in 2008, where he focused on auto theft investigations and vice operations.
In 2023, he returned to the Patrol Division and once again took on the responsibility of Field Training Instructor, continuing his commitment to officer development. He remains an active and experienced member of the SWAT team and is currently awaiting reassignment to the Personnel and Recruiting Division.
Outside of his professional life, Officer Billeaud enjoys spending quality time with his wife of 22 years, Donna, and their two children—Rylee, 20, and Brock, 18.
