Background

The applicant has requested a zone change from Open Space/Recreation (OR) to Mixed Residential at Low to Medium Densities (SF2) and General Commercial (GC) zoning district. The subject property is currently split zoned, to the north the property is zoned OR and to the south the property is zoned GC. The applicant is proposing to re-align the GC zoning boundaries and to re-zone the northern portion of the property to SF2 to allow for commercial improvements and residential development.
