Background
The applicant has requested a zone change from Open Space/Recreation (OR) to Low Density Single-Family Residential (SF1) Zoning District. The applicant is proposing to build a single-family dwelling to replace current residential structures on the subject property. This property, along with much of the surrounding properties, were included in the 2017 annexations, which placed the properties within the City Limits as the zoning classification of Open Space/Recreation (OR). This zoning district is the most restrictive and would not allow for the residential development the applicant is seeking.
