For her project, Kathy looked at the process of ordering logoed staff apparel at the Library. As she Defined, Measured, and used a Spaghetti Diagram to Analyze the situation, she noticed how long it takes and how much movement is involved in gathering staff sizing information for each order. In addition, she found on average 5 sets of apparel not being used per order due to a variety of errors in the ordering process (wrong size, didn’t like the style, etc.). What a great place to start looking ways to make this process more cost effective!
Well done Kathy!
