Newcastle Park Project
The project will include improvements to Newcastle Park at 3208 Newcastle Dr.
BUDGET: $571,000
WHY is this project needed: To implement new and improved features and increase consistency as we look to make all of our parks a fun and safe environment for all individuals who visit.
HOW LONG will this project take: This project will take 5 to 6 months beginning in late March 2022.
WHAT are the project improvements: The project will begin with drainage improvements to the park followed by an array of new features such as a covered basketball court, an additional playground with a shade structure, a fitness trail with fitness stations, and a renovated shelter.

Concrete bridges have been extended to prevent trail erosion.

The sidewalk art at Newcastle has been completed!

Concrete bridges were added to the walking trail to help with drainage.
