Roseland Clubhouse

This project includes the construction of a new clubhouse at Roseland Park for the community and be available as a rentable space. The new building will provide barrier free access and will be relocated to the west side of the park near the volleyball court and splash pad.

BUDGET: $1,088,800.00

WHY is this project needed: The original clubhouse, built in the 1960's, had been flooded 3 times and was underwater for a week after Hurricane Harvey. It was also located too close to Cedar Bayou, so it has been relocated to the west side, where it will have a higher elevation. This building provided a key quality of life for city residents, hosting birthday parties and reunions. The goal is to bring this back into the City of Baytown and provide an additional rental space for residents to utilize and enjoy.

HOW LONG will this project take: This project will begin construction in December 2021. 

WHAT are the project improvements: The clubhouse will include a catering kitchen, indoor and outdoor seating areas, and restrooms.
