The City of Baytown

City offices, including those at City Hall, Public Works, and Utility Billing, will be closed Wednesday, July 4, in observance to the 4th of July holiday. All offices will re-open for business at their regular time on Thursday, July 5.

 All emergency services and residential trash and curbside recycling collection will operate as usual on Wednesday. Street and utility crews will be on stand-by in the event of an emergency.

The Baytown Green Center, 1601 Main St., will be closed Wednesday and will reopen on Saturday (regularly closed Thursday, Friday and Sunday).

Sterling Municipal Library will be closed Wednesday as will the Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Center and Baytown Community Center.

City parks, including the Pirates Bay Waterpark, Calypso Cove, all  splashpads, the Baytown Nature Center and both skate parks will remain open. Bicentennial Park will be the location for the City’s Annual 4^th of July Celebration, July 3-4, with free concerts, a parade, food and game vendors, and a fireworks spectacular. Concert headliners include Marshall Tucker Band (Tuesday) and Robert Earl Keen (Wednesday). A complete schedule of events can be found at www.baytown.org.
