Health & Safety Is Important for All Lil’ Monsters
The City of Baytown Office of Emergency Management, in conjunction with the Baytown/Chambers County LEPC, wants you to know that “Health & Safety is Important for all Lil’ Monsters” at the Third Annual Baytown Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, October 13. The event will be held from 10 am – 2 pm at Goose Creek Memorial High School (6001 East Wallisville Road).
Free t-shirts will be handed out to the first 250 kids through the door with their parents.
Admission is free and this event is family friendly, complete with door prizes and hands-on activities to appeal to all ages.
Fun for the kids includes a rock climbing wall, obstacle course, and animals from the Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Education and Recreation Center. Kids can get up-close and personal with emergency response vehicles and see mounted police patrols, and a demo by the Baytown Police Bomb Squad robot.
Adults can relax with chair massages, get a health screening or learn more about area doctors, chiropractors and dentists. Area businesses, industrial plants, and organizations will provide free information and promotional items on health and safety-related products and services available to them locally.
