Information on housing opportunities;
Guidance for the path to homeownership;
Home safety, repair and improvement opportunities;
Fun, free activities for the kids;
Information on financial assistance and legal guidance, and;
Detailed breakout sessions provided by selected vendors.
Area businesses will be on-hand displaying the most up-to-date and beneficial housing goods and services offered to create a healthy, sustainable, and comfortable lifestyle. This year’s list of vendors includes Texas Hurricane Fabrics, Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America and Shell Federal Credit Union, as well as other area lenders, area realtors and insurance agencies. The Houston Volunteer Lawyers will be on hand to provide residents with legal guidance regarding deeds or other housing issues. Representatives from the Tejano Center will also be on site to provide a Homebuyer’s 101 class.
It’s not too late for vendors to register for a table at the event. Registration forms are available online. For more information, visit www.baytown.org or contact Sharon Rose at email@example.com, or 281-420-5390.
