City Offices Closed for Christmas 

City of Baytown offices will be closed on Friday, December 23, through Monday, December 26, for Christmas. Offices will reopen the following Tuesday (December 27). This includes City Hall, Sterling Municipal Library, Baytown Municipal Court, Utility Billing, and the Green Center. 

Baytown Animal Services’ shelter will be closed to the public December 23 - 26, but Animal Service Officers will be on duty to care for the animals and to respond to animal related emergencies during this period.

Residential trash curbside recycling will not be affected by the holiday.

Most Baytown parks will remain open per their seasonal schedule; the Baytown Nature Center will close Christmas Day, and Pirates Bay Waterpark is closed for the winter.  The Baytown Community Center and the Eddie V. Gray Wetlands Center will be closed Friday – Monday. Ice skating at Town Square will be closed Christmas Day.

All emergency services will operate as usual. Street and utility crews will be on stand-by in the event of an emergency. 
The City of Baytown will offer curbside Christmas tree collection during a two-week collection period beginning after New Year’s Day.
